Why is the consultation written instead of a call?
Because a document is worth more than a conversation you half remember. You get something you can reread, forward to a partner or an investor, and hold us to. It also means no scheduling across calendars and no time zones — you send the problem when you have time and read the answer when you have time.
Why does the consultation cost money?
It filters. Free advice attracts people collecting fifteen opinions and people who want the work done for nothing, and both crowd out clients who are ready to build. Charging $50 means everyone who asks has decided the answer is worth having, so the time goes into your problem rather than into qualifying you.
Do I need a consultation to hire Flowmatix?
No. If you want a Starter Site, a business website, or an online store, send the project form instead — it is free and you get a fixed quote within one business day. The paid consultation is for custom software, integrations, automation, and problems that cannot be quoted from a form.
What if the review is not useful?
Tell us and we refund it, with no argument and no form to fill in. Charging for a written review only works if the review is worth more than it costs, and if it was not, we would rather return the $50 than keep money we did not earn.
Does the $50 come off the project?
Yes. If you go ahead with the work within ninety days, the $50 is credited against your first invoice. In practice the review costs you nothing if you build, and $50 if you decide not to — which is a cheap way to find out that something is not worth building.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
Yes, and they are included. Reply to the review with anything that needs clarifying and you get an answer — the point is that you end up with a decision you can act on, not a document that raises more questions than it settles.
