From our own work: We built Archon, an architecture and construction studio concept, as a showcase of brand, layout and motion design. Read the Archon case study.

Design that starts with how people behave

Good interface design is mostly invisible. People find what they need, finish what they came to do and never think about the layout. Getting there starts with research: who uses the product, what they are trying to accomplish and where they get stuck today. Analytics, support tickets and short interviews or usability sessions usually reveal more than any opinion in a meeting.

That research becomes user flows and wireframes, simple layouts that settle structure and content before visual design adds polish. Key flows are mapped screen by screen, so missing steps and dead ends show up before anyone designs a button.

From wireframes to a design system

High-fidelity design brings in your brand: colours, type, imagery and the small details that make an interface feel considered. Clickable prototypes let you and real users try key flows before development, when changes cost minutes rather than weeks. Feedback from those sessions is turned into specific changes rather than a list of opinions.

Everything is built on a design system: reusable components, colour and type tokens, and documented patterns for forms, tables, navigation and states such as empty, loading and error. Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA is part of the system from the start, covering contrast, focus states, target sizes and readable text. Developers receive organised files, specifications and component notes, so what ships matches what was approved.

When to invest in UX

UX design pays off for new products, software that has grown feature by feature until nobody can find anything, customer portals that generate too many support calls, and checkouts or sign-up flows that lose people. It is especially valuable before development, because fixing a confusing flow in a prototype is far cheaper than rebuilding it in code. Existing products can be redesigned in stages, starting with the screens that cause the most friction.

If you need a straightforward marketing website with a standard structure, a web design project covers the essentials without a full research phase. The two can also be combined, with lighter research scaled to the size of the site.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX design is about how a product works: the flows, structure and decisions a user makes. UI design is how it looks and feels: layout, colour, typography and components. Both matter, and a good project handles them together rather than as separate steps.

Do you build the designs as well?

Yes, if you want. Designs can be handed to your own developers with full specifications, or built by the Flowmatix development team as part of a web application, mobile app or website project.

How much does it cost?

Every UI/UX Design project is different, so we don't publish a price list. Answer a few questions in our quote builder and you'll get a personalised plan and estimate — compared with market prices and designed around your budget — in about 3 minutes.

Do I own what you build?

Yes. The code, content, accounts and data are yours. No lock-in — leave any time and we'll help you move.
