From our own work: We built Archon, an architecture and construction studio concept, as a showcase of brand, layout and motion design. Read the Archon case study.
Two jobs, one package
A box or label now has to work in two very different places. On a store shelf it competes at arm's length with a dozen neighbours. Online it may appear as a small square in a marketplace grid, where fine print and subtle textures disappear. Our packaging design is tested at both scales from the first concept, so the product name, variant and key benefit stay legible whether someone is holding it or scrolling past it.
Shelf impact still matters, so concepts are checked against photos of the actual aisle or category where your product will sit, not against a white background. We look at what colours and shapes your competitors already own, then find a position that stands apart while still signalling the right category. A premium tea and a budget cleaning product need different cues, and buyers read those cues in a fraction of a second. Getting them right is what makes a package look like it belongs at its price.
From concept to the file your manufacturer needs
The process starts with your product, price point, retailers and competitors. We then develop two or three concept directions, refine the chosen one and extend it across sizes, flavours or variants. Once the design is approved, we place it on the dieline supplied by your manufacturer or converter, set up bleed, safe zones and colour separations, and prepare print-ready PDFs.
You also receive 3D mockups for your online store and marketplace listings, so product photography is not holding up launch. Typical projects run two to six weeks, depending on the number of SKUs and how quickly printer proofs come back.
Good fit, and what to sort out first
Packaging design suits product companies launching a new line, moving from a generic label to retail-ready packaging, or bringing an inconsistent range under one system. Before starting, confirm your manufacturer, materials and dieline, because a change of box structure late in the project means redoing artwork.
Regulatory content such as ingredient lists, bilingual labelling and nutrition panels is laid out to your supplied text. You remain responsible for checking that wording against the rules for your product category, ideally with a regulatory specialist.

Frequently asked questions
Do you provide the dielines?
Usually the manufacturer or packaging supplier provides the dieline for their box structure, because it depends on their equipment. We place the artwork on it and prepare print-ready files. If you have no supplier yet, we can design to a standard structure and adjust once one is chosen.
Can you design bilingual labels for Canada?
Yes, we lay out English and French text with equal care so neither looks like an afterthought. The wording and its compliance with labelling rules for your product category should be confirmed by you or a regulatory adviser before printing.
How much does it cost?
Every Packaging Design project is different, so we don't publish a price list. Answer a few questions in our quote builder and you'll get a personalised plan and estimate — compared with market prices and designed around your budget — in about 3 minutes.
Do I own what you build?
Yes. The code, content, accounts and data are yours. No lock-in — leave any time and we'll help you move.
