Practical security for web apps and cloud
Many breaches at small and mid-size companies involve nothing sophisticated. They often start with weak or reused passwords without multi-factor authentication, unpatched software, exposed admin panels, overly broad cloud permissions and web forms that trust user input. Cybersecurity work at Flowmatix focuses on those everyday weaknesses in your web applications and cloud environments, ranked by how likely they are to be exploited and how much damage they would cause.
Review, fix, then watch
An engagement begins with an application and cloud security review. For web apps, we check against the OWASP Top 10 categories, such as broken access control and injection, and review authentication, session handling and dependencies. For cloud accounts, we review identity and access settings, public storage, network exposure and logging.
Findings come as a plain-language report with clear priorities. We can then fix them: rolling out MFA and single sign-on, tightening permissions, patching code, and setting up logging and alerts so suspicious activity is noticed. The engagement ends with incident response runbooks, short documents that tell your team who to call and what to do first if something goes wrong. Most projects take two to eight weeks. Where a fix carries a business trade-off, such as stricter sign-in rules that add a step for staff, the report explains it so you can decide with full information.
Scope and limits
This service suits companies that run their own web applications, store customer data in the cloud or are being asked about security by larger clients. It does not replace a formal penetration test or compliance audit where a certified third party is required. In that case, our review can prepare you so the audit goes more smoothly.
Security is also not a one-time project. New staff join, software changes and new weaknesses are published every week. After the initial work, many clients keep a light ongoing arrangement for patching, access reviews and alert monitoring, either through a managed IT plan or periodic check-ups. Even without that, the report and runbooks give your own team a clear list of habits to maintain, which keeps the improvements from fading once the project ends.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as a penetration test?
Not exactly. A security review examines configuration and code for weaknesses, and includes hands-on testing where appropriate. A formal penetration test by an independent firm may be required for certain contracts or certifications. Many clients do a review and fixes first, then commission a test.
We are small. Are we really a target?
Most attacks are automated and indiscriminate, scanning the internet for known weaknesses regardless of company size. Small businesses often have fewer defences, which makes basic measures such as MFA, patching and backups especially worthwhile.
How much does it cost?
Every Cybersecurity project is different, so we don't publish a price list. Answer a few questions in our quote builder and you'll get a personalised plan and estimate — compared with market prices and designed around your budget — in about 3 minutes.
Do I own what you build?
Yes. The code, content, accounts and data are yours. No lock-in — leave any time and we'll help you move.
