Accounting technology: client portals and automation for accounting firms
Digital systems for accounting and bookkeeping firms — client portals, document collection, QuickBooks/Xero integrations and automation that ends month-end chasing.
Flowmatix is a technology partner: we build the websites, software, automation and AI that accounting firms and finance teams run on — we don't provide accounting, audit or tax services.

Built for firms, not a bookkeeping service
Flowmatix builds the digital side of accounting and bookkeeping practices: firm websites, secure client portals, integrations with QuickBooks, Xero and Sage, and automation for invoices and receipts. We do not provide accounting, tax or bookkeeping services ourselves. Our job is to give your firm better systems so your accountants spend less time chasing documents and more time on billable work.
Your website is part of this too. Many firm websites list services but say little about who the firm serves best, how engagements work or what clients should prepare. Clear service pages for bookkeeping, tax, advisory or industry niches help the right prospects choose you, and a secure inquiry form asks for the details your team needs to quote. New clients can then move straight into onboarding inside the same portal, rather than starting over by email.
Ending the month-end chase
The most common pain in an accounting practice is collecting what clients owe you: bank statements, receipts, signed engagement letters, tax slips. A client portal gives each client a single place to upload documents against a checklist, with automatic reminders for anything outstanding and a clear status for your staff. Uploads can be named, sorted and filed automatically, so nobody spends Friday renaming PDFs.
For bookkeeping clients, receipt and invoice processing reads documents, extracts the key fields and prepares entries for review in QuickBooks, Xero or Sage. A reviewer approves before anything is posted. Reporting dashboards can then show client financials or your firm's own workload, such as returns in progress by stage. Projects typically take four to ten weeks.
Security and when to buy off the shelf
Client financial data demands care, so portals use encrypted storage, multi-factor authentication and access logs, and we help you document how data is handled for your professional obligations.
Several practice-management products already include portals. If one of them fits your workflow, it may be the better choice, and we can integrate around it. A custom build makes sense when your services, branding or integrations do not fit the standard tools.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer bookkeeping or tax preparation?
No. Flowmatix is a technology studio. We build websites, portals, integrations and automation for accounting firms and finance teams. The accounting, tax and assurance work itself stays with your qualified professionals, who remain responsible for the advice and filings.
Can automation post entries to QuickBooks or Xero directly?
It can, but most firms prefer a review step. Extracted data is prepared as draft entries that a bookkeeper approves, which keeps a person accountable for what reaches the ledger while still removing most of the typing.
How much does it cost?
