Technology for back-office work, not an offshore team
Business process outsourcing traditionally means sending repetitive work, such as data entry, document handling and order processing, to an external team. Flowmatix takes a different angle. Rather than supplying people to do the work, we build the AI-powered workflows that do most of it, with human review wherever accuracy matters. The reviewers can be your own staff, an existing BPO provider or a small team you appoint. Flowmatix provides the software, not a workforce.
This approach keeps the knowledge of how your processes work inside your business rather than with an outside provider, and it means volumes can grow without a matching increase in headcount. The workflows are documented and owned by you, so they can be maintained by your own technical staff or supported under a Flowmatix care plan. If you already work with a traditional BPO provider, the tools can make their team faster and more accurate rather than replacing them.
How a process is automated
Each project begins by mapping the process as it actually runs: where documents arrive, which fields matter, what exceptions occur and what a mistake costs. We then agree service levels, such as turnaround time and accuracy thresholds, before building anything.
Typical builds include AI document processing that reads invoices, purchase orders, forms or emails and extracts structured data; order and ticket workflows that route each item to the right system; and a review queue where anything the model is unsure about is checked by a person before it is committed. Operational reporting shows volumes, exceptions and turnaround, so you know the system is working. Projects usually take four to ten weeks.
Where this approach fits
It works best for high-volume, rule-based processes with clear inputs, such as supplier invoices, order entry or onboarding forms. It is less suitable for work that relies on judgement, relationships or regulated sign-off, where the human role is the point.
If your volumes are low, a simpler automation or a better-designed form might solve the problem without AI at all, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Frequently asked questions
Do you provide staff to do our back-office work?
No. Flowmatix designs, builds and maintains the automation and review tools. The people who check exceptions are your own staff or a provider you choose. This keeps control of your data and decisions inside your business.
How accurate is AI document processing?
Accuracy depends on document quality, layout consistency and the fields required, so we measure it on a sample of your real documents during the project. Confidence thresholds then decide what goes straight through and what goes to a human reviewer.
